A gentler option, when it's the better fit
Dr. Mark is a hands-on chiropractor, and that has not changed. Manual adjusting is what he has practiced for over 20 years, and it is still how most visits go.
It is not the right fit for everyone, though. Some patients tense up at the thought of being adjusted by hand, some are too tender or too fragile for it, and some just do not like the popping sound. So the practice recently added a PulStar, an adjusting instrument that does the same work with a series of light, controlled impulses instead of a manual thrust.
There is no twisting and no popping. You stay comfortable while the instrument does its work, and because it is computer-assisted, Dr. Mark can show you what it measured before and after.
